Randy Pettipas

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Randy Pettipas is Presi- dent and Chief Executive Officer of Global Public Affairs - Canada's largest privately-held public affairs firm. Since joining Global in 1997, Randy has provided strong strategic policy advice and delivered positive results to his clients in the energy, natural resources, telecommunications, transportation, infrastructure and not-for-profit sectors. He has driven growth in Global to include offices in six major cities. Randy serves as a trusted advisor to the leaders of many of Canada's largest corporations. Prior to joining Global Public Affairs, Randy Pettipas held a number of key positions in Canada's federal government including being a senior advisor to Prime Minister Jean Chretien and being Chief of Staff to Ministers in the departments of Transport Canada and Canada Revenue Agency. He is quite active in community affairs being past-Chair of the Board of Hospice Calgary and currently is a member of the Boards of the Calgary Zoo and the Arts Commons. Additionally, he sits on the Advisory Board of the Canada Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C.
