Published is the Spring 2014 edition of "Generations" - the newsletter of Les Guédry d'Asteur.

In it you'll find the latest information on our Guédry & Petitpas Reunion in Van Buren, Maine on Saturday, 16 August 2014. The agenda is now final and available in this issue. Also, you'll find transportation and housing information as well as how to obtain the Congrès Mondial bracelets needed for the major events during Congrès Mondial Acadien 2014.

For those planning to attend the Guédry & Petitpas Reunion, please complete and send in the Registration Form at the back of this newsletter. We need to get an accurate account of who will be attending to ensure the hall we have rented is large enough and that we have enough food prepared.

I have been asked by several folks if we will have Reunion T-shirts available. Although we will have lots of momentos to purchase at the Reunion, we will not have T-shirts this year. Experience has shown that they are quite expensive to produce and stock in all the necessary sizes with many remaining unsold. Instead we are creating a Reunion T-shirt on the Cafe Press website that you will be to purchase shortly in the style of your choice. The website address is: http://www.cafepress.com/ .

In this issue of "Generations" read about our Guédry cousins of the Van Buren and Grand Isle, Maine areas - the Grivois family. Yes, they are Guédry's although, as with many of us, their surname changed many years ago to Grivois.
