Bonjour Cousins,

Only two weeks until our Guédry & Petitpas Reunion on 16 August at the Acadian Village in Van Buren, Maine.

During the last two weeks we have had a major increase in registrations for the Reunion. We have folks coming from Oregon to Maine and Louisiana to Ontario with many points between so you'll be able to meet Guédry and Petitpas cousins from throughout North America.

We'll have available for sale several books as well as mementos of the Reunion.

It is not too late to Register and housing is still available in the Madawaska area. See this CMA 2014 website for information on housing:

If you have not registered or notified me that you will attend the Reunion, you can still attend. We will accept Registrations at the door. To assist with your Registration, please complete the attached Registration form and bring it with you. Also, so we can have sufficient seating and meals available, please email me at guidryrmartin@gmail.com and let me know the names in your group that will attend and how many meals you would like (meals are optional at $12 per meal).

I have attached an updated agenda. Bernie Geddry is ill and will not be able to present his research on the French origins of the Guédry family so we have adjusted the schedule a bit.

After the last scheduled activity for the day we will have snacks and soft drinks available so folks can gather and talk, meet new cousins, make plans with each other for touring the area, discuss genealogies and their family and just be together for a bit. We will be able to use the facility until about 7:00 pm. So plan on staying a while and enjoying the time together. Perhaps we may even have a brief jam session.
