Bonjour cousins,

Attached is the Summer 2014 issue of our family association newsletter "Generations" .

This is the last issue before our upcoming Reunion on 16 August 2014 in Van Buren, Maine. Our lead article "Acadian Genetic Diseases" is unusual for the newsletter in that it is not about our Guédry and Petitpas families directly; however, it is important that we Acadians all know about this subject for ourselves and our families.

I hope you enjoy this issue of "Generations" and look forward to visiting with many of you at our Reunion.
