- Monument to Fort La Tour, a fortified fur trading post built in 1631 by Charles de LaTour. In 1645 d'Aulnay attacked the fort and defeated LaTour's soldiers and LaTour's wife Françoise-Marie Jacquelin who was commanding in LaTour's absence
- Later renamed Fort Sainte-Marie by LaTour
Seigneurie of Martin d'Aprendestiguy
Located near area under Route 1 bridge near north end of King Street West on Saint John West side of bridge
- Martin d'Aprendestiguy established Fort Martignon at Menagoneck at the mouth of the Saint John River opposite Fort LaTour
- Here he operated a fur trading post and lived with his wife Jeanne LaTour
- He was granted a seigneurie here
- It was located near Fort Charnisay (see below)
- On 2 June 1681 Jeanne Guédry, daughter of Claude Guédry and Kesk8a, was baptized at Menagoneck and Jeanne LaTour was the godmother
- She was probably baptized at the Seigneury of Martin d'Aprendestiguy
Fort Charnisay National Historic Site of Canada
Under Route 1 near end of King Street West; Plaque at NE corner of Market Place Street and Middle Street West
- Between 1645 and 1775 this site hosted a number of forts including Fort Charnisay, Fort St. Jean, Fort Ménagouèche, Fort Frederick, "Old Fort" and Fort Monckton
- In 1645 d'Aulnay built a small wooden fortified trading post here before attacking Fort La Tour. D'Aprendestiguy occupied the fort in 1672. In 1698 Governor Villebon built Fort Saint Jean at this site. Deschamps de Boishébert restored the fort in 1751 and renamed it Fort Ménagouèche. He burnt the fort in 1755 to keep it from the British
- Today has a plaque and cairn at the site. The original fort was at today's Harbour Bridge Toll Plaza

Tidal Bore Park

- This natural phenomenon is a result of the record high tides of the Bay of Fundy
- These cause the water in Moncton's Petitcodiac River to raise with just one wave coming in from the Bay
- Within an hour the river can go from a muddy river bottom at low tide to being filled to its banks at some 7.5 m depth

- Jacque's family was the 2nd of 8 families censused in 1752 at this location
- Four families lived on north shore and four families lived on south shore
- To view the north shore of Dunk River and land settled by the Acadians - from Lower Bedeque, along Hurds Point Road and along Highway 112 one can view the north shore of the mouth of the Dunk River (opposite shore from Lower Bedeque)
- From Ross Corner (at Highways 1A and 120), take Highway 1A northwest and turn left along Clark Road, Slavert Shore Road, Baker Shore Road and Corbetts Road to reach the north shore of Dunk River along which Jacques Guédry settled
- Also Highway 1A crosses Dunk River to the southeast of Ross Corner
